The challenge was to create a new multi-channel advertising campaign to recruit teachers onto Teach Firsts’ training programme. The campaign needed to appeal to a range of candidates, from undergraduates to career changers, and build brand awareness among potential applicants.
Working as part of a creative team, I explored a range of creative executions before developing the final concept: ‘Take Shape’. This showcased to prospective teachers the impact they could have, both on themselves, and on the lives of pupils in shaping who they could become.
The design used the Teach First brand shapes to represent the different opportunities on offer to trainees, and how teaching could help to shape their future. This empowering campaign worked seamlessly across both print and digital, helping Teach First to position teaching as more than just a job and setting itself apart from its competitors.
